Caters For Babies right up to Twenties
From time to time, the Talented Kids Agency is contacted by Casting Directors from all over Ireland and England(sometimes even further abroad), looking for all types of students for TV and Radio adverts, TV series, Feature Films, Short Films, Musicals, Modelling Work etc. There are usually certain criteria, with regards to looks, age and experience, that have to be followed before submitting students for auditions. We may be asked to put forward 3 or 4 students who fit the criteria given on the Casting Brief. Following this, an audition appointment will be set up for these students. We are very often asked to submit photographs of students also, so it is essential that you update your photograph. Our students have been very successful at many Closed and Open auditions that they have attended.
Many students from the Talented Kids Agency have been featured on the “Late Late Toy Show” as performers and presenters, have been winners in the “Star Stream”
grand finals, “E Cara” grand finalists, have starred in Disney Films, Feature Films such as “Wimbledon”, and “Ella Enchanted” and in many short films which have been showing in cinemas and Film Festivals throughout the world.
Many of our Agency students from babies to early 20s are currently starring on RTE’s “Fair City”, “Drawing with Don” and “Snapshots”. They have also appeared on “Custer’s Last Stand Up”, “Bachelor’s Walk”, in the Samuel Beckett Theatre for Shakespearian acting, been winners of the “FM104 World Cup Songwriting Competition” and the “Coca Cola Talent Competition ”, been finalists in the 2FM Song Writing Competition, and “You’re a Star”, TG4’s “Glor Tire”, performed on “Kenny Live”, “Ireland am”, “Sattitude” “Echo Island”, “Open House”, “Den T.V.”, “Les Miserables” in the Point Depot, “Poga’s Wonderland” in Goffs, Pantomimes and Shows in the Helix, Liberty Hall, Olympia, Moat Theatre, Pavillion Theatre, Tivoli Theatre, Rupert Guinness Theatre, Draiocht Theatre, Cork Opera House, Vicar Street, Belfast Opera House, Civic Theatre, Point Depot and in the National Concert Hall,. They have provided voice-overs on current radio adverts and are appearing on many Television adverts such as DNG, Trocaire, Vodafone, Eircom Broadband, Suzuki Car advert, Failte Ireland to name but a few at the moment. “Lost and Sound”, a rock band from our school were awarded top Dublin Band in the Shockwaves Unsigned Competition 2004.
In 2006 alone, the students won numerous awards and bursaries for all
styles of Singing and Speech and Drama in the Dublin Feis Ceoil, Welsh Talent Competition, Trabolgan Talent Competition, Wesley Interschools Festival, Navan Choral Festival, Newpark Music Festival, Sligo Feis Ceoil, Feis Shligigh, Feis Maitiu, Spring Festival of Speech and Drama. Our Intermediate and Senior Dance Classes are regular prizewinners at Hip Hop Competitions held throughout Ireland including the “All Ireland Hip Hop Dancing Championships”. 3 students from our school represented Ireland in the World Hip Hop Championships in Los Angeles in August 2005.
Our students are always in demand to perform at many Corporate Shows and Events throughout Ireland and have regular Cabaret Spots in Christmas and Summer Shows in Ireland and abroad.
